With over 50 years of engineering experience and more than 60 years as a family, Arnold Nemetz, founding principal; Steven Nemetz, CEO/Principal & Franci Stratton (Nemetz) CFO; believe in bringing together work and family at Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. Arnold, Steve & Franci are dedicated to growth and development while ensuring the core family values remain throughout the company for the upcoming generation (Jennifer Lifton, Alex Stratton, Will Stratton).
Steven Nemetz
P.Eng. Chief Executive Officer / Principal
Steven Nemetz joined his father’s (Arnold Nemetz) firm in 1983 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Principal of Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. Steve is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has brought an enthusiastic, yet thorough approach to meeting client needs while ensuring that client relations, service and quality remain the top priority.
In his capacity as CEO of the company, Steve Nemetz has supervised all facets of electrical design for a diverse and extensive list of projects. Under Steve’s leadership, Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. has expanded its client base to include projects throughout Canada, the United States and Asia.
Arnold Nemetz
P.Eng. Founding Principal
Arnold Nemetz, founder of Arnold Nemetz & Associates Ltd. is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering. To get his start Arnold Nemetz served as an electrical engineer with ‘Domino Electric Ltd.’ from 1954 to 1963, when he then began his own professional electrical engineering consulting company (Nemetz & Associates Ltd.)
While the initial emphasis was on high-rise building projects, the company quickly evolved to include lighting for projects ranging from hotels to food stores to government installations and residential developments.
As the firm’s founder he brings an impressive array of knowledge and experience to the team that has contributed to the electrical engineering and design of many notable projects.
Franci Stratton
Chief Operations Officer
Franci Stratton joined her father’s (Arnold Nemetz) firm in 1994 and currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. Franci combines organizational ability with extensive experience in customer service to bring a family environment to the company. She uses her knowledge in Finance and Human Resource to support clients and projects while ensuring the overall office runs efficiently.
